Alor Pathe: The project in brief
In pursuit to implement state of the art digital classroom project in the Schools of Birbhum, Paschim Banga Samagra Siksha Mission, under the aegis and leadership of the District Magistrate of Birbhum, has launched “AlorPathe” – a Special Education Intervention for 2375 students accross 21 Primary Schools of Md. Bazar Block/Md. Bazar New CLRC (Bharkata GP & part of the Hinglo GP), Birbhum, with the aim and objective to bring down the digital divide and to attain
• Increase enrollment
• Reduced Dropout rate
• Reduction in assimilation time for the students thus making the learning environment more interactive departing from the conventional Chalk and Talk Method
• Betterment in academic performance of the students
In line with The Government of West Bengal’s commitment towards advancement of education and introduction of state of the art technology in educational institutions, ‘AlorPathe’ intervention is designed to fast track the initiatives and bring change in the learning environment of the students of the hitherto untouched schools.
‘AlorPathe’ project is being implemented by West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation Limited - WIL Division and Schoolnet India Limited (Formerly IL&FS Education & Technology Services Ltd.).
